The ride

Roll out of Roding and the climbing begins, on a route of 86.8 km with 1438 m of elevation gain. You pass the Schloßberg von Sattelpeilnstein nature reserve, then Schloßpark Falkenstein, before Burg Falkenstein castle appears. On through the Hölle nature reserve and past the Neubäuer Weiher, with Strahlfeld's former castle near the end. Back to Roding you roll, mostly on paved surface.
