Roll out of Mettingen and let the route carry you past the Dörenther Klippen nature reserve, then on to the Torflöcher am Galgenkamp. Next up are the Knollmanns Meerkott and Halverder Moor nature reserves before the road turns for home. Of the 81.8 km, most is paved and the rest unpaved, with 361 m of climbing along the way. Back in Mettingen, you have strung four nature reserves into one loop.
