The ride

Roll out of Septmonts and the route quickly finds the river La Vesle, then climbs past the Château du Bas and the castle at Ferme d'Applincourt. Further on you meet L'Ourcq, followed by the old castle of Givray and the ancient manor, before La Crise carries you back toward home. It's 86.3 km with 713 m of climbing, all of it on paved surface.
