The ride

This ride rolls out of Sempigny and back again, 59.9 km with 404 m of climbing along the way. You follow the river L'Oise, then pick up the Canal Latéral à l'Oise, before the route turns to the Bras de l'Ailette and the Ailette itself. Three quarters of the distance is unpaved, so expect a mix of surfaces under your wheels as the water keeps you company. Start and finish in the same village, with the waterways strung out in between.
