Rondje Château de Puyguilhem en La Dronne

The ride

From Saint-Pardoux-la-Rivière you roll out along the Dronne and into the Périgord-Limousin nature reserve, with 887 m of climbing spread across the day. The Côle joins the route before the castles come thick and fast: Puyguilhem, la Renaudie, du Pommier and Saulnier. Every metre of the 76.3 km is paved, so the surface stays consistent from start to finish. The loop then turns for home, back to the village where it began.
