Roll out of Excideuil and the castle is the first thing on your route, before the road follows La Loue and then L'Isle. Further on, Château de Glane and the Côle keep you company, with the Périgord-Limousin nature reserve waiting in between. All 75.6 km are paved, and the 733 m of climbing is spread across the day rather than saved for one wall. You finish back where you started, in Excideuil.
