Roll out of Couesmes-Vaucé and into the Parc naturel régional Normandie-Maine, a nature reserve that sets the tone for the day. The route follows La Varenne and later La Mayenne, with two castles — Montfléaux and Levaré — breaking up the kilometres. La Colmont accompanies you on the way back to the start village, 70.1 km after setting off.
