Roll out from Parkeerplaats Irndorfer Hardt and let the route unfold: first the viewpoint at Knopfmacherfelsen, then on through the Galgenwiesen and Heimberg nature reserves. Past the Braunhartsberg reserve and the Eselmühle reserve you climb toward Burg Straßberg, a castle that marks the far turn. With 1443 m of elevation across 97.3 km, mostly paved, the road eventually brings you back to where you started.
