Roll out from Parkeerplaats Tschirner und Nordhalbener Ködeltal mit Mäusbeutel and straight into the Naturpark Frankenwald, then back through the Ködeltal mit Mäusbeutel nature reserve. Follow the Rodach river to the Marmormühle watermill, then the Saale, before climbing to Burg Lobenstein castle. Of the 71.6 km, nearly all is paved, with a sliver of unpaved, and 1386 m of climbing along the way.
