Roll out from Parkeerplaats Birkenfelder Tongrube and let the ride unfold: first past Burg Birkenfeld, then into the Saar-Hunsrück nature reserve and on through the Gebück. Later comes Burg Veldenz, followed by the Alter Nahearm nature reserve and the Nahe river, before you loop back to where you started. Along the way, 60.9 km with 1045 m of climbing, mostly on unpaved surface.
