Rondje Altenburg en Aare

The ride

From Brugg you roll out toward the Schwarzer Turm castle, then on to Altenburg castle before the climb up to the Chestenberg viewpoint. Schloss Brunegg castle follows, and then the route drops to the Reuss river and later the Aare river on the way back. Of the 52.2 km, most runs unpaved, with 1094 m of climbing along the way.
