The ride

Roll out of Saumur and let the ride unfold along the water, following La Loire before picking up the L'Authion and then the L'Automne. Between the rivers you slip through the Parc naturel régional Loire-Anjou-Touraine, with 54.3 km of riding that mixes paved and unpaved lanes in roughly equal measure. The 341 m of climbing keeps things lively without ever running away with you. Then it's back to Saumur to close the loop.
