Langs Forte Sangallo en Riserva Naturale di Tor Caldara

The ride

Roll out of Anzio and the ride opens up over 72.4 km of paved road, with 310 m of climbing spread along the way. First comes the Riserva Naturale di Tor Caldara, a nature reserve, then the Fiume Astura, a river crossing that marks the turn inland. Later you pass Forte Sangallo, a castle, before the road bends back toward Anzio. A gentle loop with plenty to look at as it unfolds.
