Hills between Le Lison and La Furieuse

The ride

Roll out of Salins-les-Bains and let the route carry you along the Le Lison river, then into the Forêt de la Joux forest and on past the La Furieuse river before looping home. It's 75.4 km with 1073 m of climbing, so the legs get a proper workout between the water and the trees. The surface is almost entirely paved, with just a sliver of unpaved to keep you honest. Back into Salins-les-Bains you roll, river, forest and river again behind you.
