Hills between La Smagne and La Longèves

The ride

From Vouvant, this 76.8 km loop rolls out past the Logis de la Chesnelière castle and follows La Vendée river before another castle at Le Château. Then it's into the Parc naturel régional du Marais poitevin nature reserve, on to Château de Terre-Neuve and along the Longèves and Smagne rivers. A final castle at Fougeroux and you're back in Vouvant, with 645 m of climbing along the way.
