Roll out of Avanne-Aveney and follow the Doubs before the route climbs past the Château d'Étrabonne and on to the Château de Cordiron. Between the castles you cross the Ruisseau du Breuil and the Ruisseau de Noironte, then ride by the Château de Recologne and another castle on the way. Of the 70.2 km, almost all is paved. The ride closes along the L'Ognon and brings you back to where you started.
