The ride

Roll out of Manzanares el Real and the castle comes first, then the ride slips into the Parque Regional de la Cuenca Alta del Manzanares nature reserve. From there the route follows the Río Navacerrada and the Río Guadarrama before meeting the Río Manzanares. With 82.5 km and 955 m of climbing ahead, the rivers keep you company on the way home.
