Gravel between Le Rhône and Le Roubion

The ride

This 55.2 km loop rolls out of Montélimar and heads for the water, following the Roubion and then the Rhône. The middle stretch runs through the Réserve de Vie Sauvage des Deux-Lacs, where the route turns mostly unpaved under your tyres. La Riaille comes next, and from there it's back to Montélimar to close the loop. With 438 m of climbing spread across the ride, it's a steady day of pedalling rather than a flat spin.
