Roll out of Marzaglia and the ride soon settles into a green loop, heading first for the Cassa di espansione del fiume Secchia nature reserve. From there you pass the SIC-ZPS Casse di espansione del Secchia, another nature reserve, before the route follows the Secchia river. On the way back you cross the Area boscata di Marzaglia nature reserve, then return to where you began. With 73.3 km and just 133 m of climbing, it stays gentle throughout.
