Castles between Viano and Canossa

The ride

Roll out of Viano for a loop that strings together castles and nature reserves in riding order. Climb past the Rupe di Campotrera reserve to the Castello di Canossa, then on through the Colli di Quattro Castella and the Oasi di Bianello. After the Fontanile dell'Ariolo reserve come the castles of Arceto, Salvaterra and Dondena, before the road brings you back to Viano. With 96.8 km and 1434 m of climbing, it's a day that keeps unfolding.
