Roll out of Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny and follow the Chéran river before the route climbs into the Parc naturel régional du Massif des Bauges. Later you meet the Leysse, then ride through the Parc naturel régional de Chartreuse, with the Château de Carron along the way. The 75.1 km loop packs in 1666 m of climbing, and the surface is almost entirely paved, with a small unpaved share. Back to the start village it is.
