Roll out of Dunières and follow the Lignon river before the Château de Verchères comes into view. The route keeps climbing past La Dunière and the Château des Évêques-du-Puy, with 1530 m of elevation gain to keep the legs honest. La Semène river marks the later stretch, and the road stays fully paved the whole way. You finish back where you started, in Dunières.
