The ride

From Le Chenit you roll out for 77.1 km of riding that keeps the castles coming. First the L'Orbe river, then the Château de l'Isle, before the Venoge and the Jura vaudois nature reserve open up the middle of the route. Three more castles follow — Cuarnens, Grancy and Lavigny — and the Aubonne river sees you along before the loop closes back in Le Chenit.
