Roll out of Schlotheim and let the route unfold: first past Schloss Schlotheim, then along the Alte Unstrut. The Talsperre Seebach comes next, followed by Burg Oppershausen, before the Unstrut carries you back toward home. It's 72.2 km with 579 m of climbing, and the surface is almost entirely paved. One castle, one manor, two rivers and a lake — a fine loop from start to finish.
