The ride

Roll out of Sondershausen and into the Hainleite forest, then past the Turmwindmühle Immenrode windmill. The route continues by the Hotzenberg nature reserve and along the Wipper river before looping back to Sondershausen. Of the 60.8 km, most runs unpaved, with 728 m of climbing along the way.
