The ride

Roll out of Collonges-la-Rouge and the castles come thick and fast: the Manoir de Vassinhac, Château Maussac and Manoir de Beauvirie in quick succession. Then the route follows the water, past La Sourdoire, La Ménoire, La Dordogne and Le Maumont. A castle closes the loop at Château de Beauregard before you roll back into the start village. It's 70.7 km, all paved, with 833 m of climbing along the way.
