The ride

From La Chaux-de-Fonds you roll out toward the Grande Fontaine lake, then climb into the Parc régional Chasseral nature reserve. The route dips past the Ruines du Château d'Erguel castle and follows the Seyon river before the castles of Neuchâtel, the Tour des prisons and Colombier come in quick succession. A final stretch through the Parc du Doubs nature reserve brings you back to where you started, 92.6 km later.
