From Rothrist you roll out along the Wigger river and on toward the Suhre, with Schloss Schöftland marking the way. Further on, the route slips past Gutenburg castle and Schloss Aarwangen before meeting the Aare. With 87.6 km and 1162 m of climbing ahead, the castles and rivers keep the legs turning, and the loop brings you back to Rothrist.
