Roll out of Saint-Étienne-de-Montluc and let the road carry you toward the ZAD nature reserve, then on along the Le Cens river. Of the 70.1 km, nearly all is paved, with a short unpaved stretch to keep things interesting. A modest 356 m of climbing spreads gently across the route, so the legs stay happy. The loop brings you back to where you started, in the same village you left.
