Waterside route past Ancien donjon to L'Oise

The ride

This 68.5 km loop rolls out of Aulnois-sous-Laon and back again, all of it paved. On the way you pass the old feudal castle and its ancient keep, then follow the Oise and the Serre rivers as they wind through the countryside. With 412 m of climbing spread across the route, the hills come in gentle doses rather than one big wall. History, two rivers and a steady rhythm from start to finish.
