Roll out of Samos and the road soon settles into a rhythm of climbing, because this loop packs 1542 m of elevation gain into its length. You ride past the nature reserve ZEC Ancares-Courel, then the ZEC Río Cabe, before the route follows the Río Mao. Later comes the castle Torre do Batallón and the Río Sarria, and then it's back to Samos where you started.
