Waterside loop from L'Ouche to La Vandenesse

The ride

From Veuvey-sur-Ouche, the road rolls out along the L'Ouche river and up past the castle of Savigny lès Beaune. Next come a manor, the La Bouzaize river and the castle of Lusigny, before the route follows La Vandenesse to the Canal de Bourgogne. A final castle at Commarin, then it's back to where you started. All 84.5 km are paved, with 989 m of climbing along the way.
