Roll out of La Madeleine and let the route unfold through the Parc naturel régional de Brière, a nature reserve that sets the tone early. Next comes the Marais salants du Més, another nature reserve, before the Étier de Pont d'Arm river carries you onward. With 62.4 km under your wheels and roughly half of it unpaved, the mix keeps things interesting, and 291 m of climbing keeps the legs awake. Then it's back to La Madeleine to close the loop.
