The ride

Roll out of Castello di Annone and let the route take you across the Tanaro river, then on past the Triversa and the Borbore, before the Tanaro comes around again. Of the 63.6 km, most runs unpaved, so the gravel keeps you honest between the rivers. With 690 m of climbing spread along the way, the ride rolls rather than rages. You finish back where you started, in Castello di Annone.
