Roll out from Parkeerplaats Leudelsbachtal and into the Leudelsbachtal nature reserve, then climb on past the Neckarhalde nature reserve toward the Hessigheimer Felsengärten. From there the route slips through Naturpark Stromberg-Heuchelberg before a stop at Schloss Unterriexingen, a castle worth the pause. With 57.8 km and 788 m of climbing ahead, the mix of paved and unpaved keeps every turn interesting, and the ride loops back to where it began.
