The ride

Roll out of Auersthal and the castles come thick and fast: first Schloss Schönkirchen, then along the Rußbach canal, before Schloss Rutzendorf and Schloss Bockfließ line up in turn. The 73.1 km loop is fully paved, so you can settle in and enjoy the run from castle to castle. Elevation stays gentle at 131 m, keeping the legs fresh for the next stretch. Back to Auersthal you roll, castles behind you.
