The ride

From Champnétery you roll out toward the Parc naturel régional de Millevaches en Limousin, a nature reserve that sets the tone for the day. The route then follows the Combade, the Vienne and the Maulde, each river marking another stretch of the 74.4 km loop. With 1240 m of climbing spread across the ride, the legs get a steady workout between the water and the trees. The parc brings you back to Champnétery, where the loop closes.
