The ride

Roll out of Nevers and let the ride unfold: first past the Palais ducal castle, then along the Loire and Nièvre rivers before the Colâtre joins the flow. Further on, the Château du Marais castle marks the way, with the Allier river rounding out the ride. At 78.2 km with 462 m of climbing, it's a loop that keeps things moving, and the surface is 99% paved. Back to Nevers to finish where you started.
