The ride

Roll out of Coschütz on 93.7 km of paved road, climbing 1445 m along the way. Soon you're skirting the Elstersteilhänge nature reserve, then rolling past Burgruine Liebau castle. The Großer Weidenteich and Syrau-Kauschwitzer Heide nature reserves lead you into the Pöllwitzer Wald forest, before three castles — Oberes Schloss, Unteres Schloss and Schloss Netzschkau — line the road home to Coschütz.
