From La Souterraine you roll out to the viewpoint at the porte Saint-Jean, then follow the Sédelle and Gartempe rivers through the countryside. Three castles line the way — Saint-Germain-Beaupré, Collonges and Fromental — before the Semme brings you back to La Souterraine.
