The ride

Roll out of Villeneuve-sur-Yonne and the ride unfolds along the water, first past the canal lock at Etigny, then following the river L'Yonne before meeting the Vanne. It's 79.3 km of paved riding with 487 m of climbing, and every metre of it is on paved surface. The rivers keep you company as you go, and the route loops back to where it began.
