From Sas van Gent you roll out past the Canisvliet nature reserve, then the Heidebos, before the Gerardsmolen windmill marks the way. The route slips through the Bellebargiebos and the Lembeekse bossen, both nature reserves, with the Kasteel van Aveschoot as a castle on the way back. Of the 73.4 km, most is paved and the rest unpaved, and the ride returns to Sas van Gent.
