From Vorden you roll out past Kasteel Hackfort and Kasteel 't Suideras, two castles in quick succession. Then it's on through the Uiterwaarden IJssel nature reserve to the Windmotor Zutphen, before the Berkel river leads you onward. Huis de Voorst and De Ehze, both nature reserves, keep the scenery varied, and Kasteel Ampsen waves you toward home. Of the 66.6 km, roughly half is unpaved, so expect a mix under your wheels.
