The ride

Roll out of Fürstenwalde/Spree and past Jagdschloss Fürstenwalde, a castle, before the route slips into Naturpark Märkische Schweiz, a nature reserve. Onward you ride to Maxsee, a lake, with most of the 58.9 km running unpaved. Then it's back to where you started, in Fürstenwalde/Spree.
