Roll out of Coesfeld and let the route unfold: first the Fürstenkuhle nature reserve, then the Berkelaue reserve, before the towers of Haus Egelborg castle appear. On past the Berkelquelle reserve and the Lossbecke reserve, with the Mühle Zumbülte watermill as a fine late stop. It's 92.9 km with 338 m of climbing, and almost all of it paved. Then the road turns you back toward Coesfeld.
