Roll out from the parking area at Halbinseln und Buchten im Lanker See and straight into the nature reserve itself. Next up are Lütjensee und Hochfelder See südöstlich Gut Bothkamp, then the Wellsee und Wellsau-Niederung, each a nature reserve in turn. The Schwentine river joins the route before the loop turns for home. All 73.4 km are paved, with 328 m of climbing along the way.
