The ride

Roll out of Aubigny-sur-Nère and let the castles come to you. The route slips past the Château des Stuarts, then follows La Nère before the Château de Saint-Maur appears ahead. On you go along La Sauldre and the Ancien Canal de la Sauldre, with the Château de la Verrerie as the next landmark and La Petite Sauldre seeing you toward the finish. It's 80.1 km of paved riding with 353 m of climbing, and it starts and ends in the same village.
