The ride

Roll out of Decize and the castle of the counts of Nevers sets the tone before the Loire opens up beside you. The route keeps company with the Cressonne and the Andarge, then follows the Aron on the way back. Of the 64.9 km, a good share runs unpaved, so pick your tyres with that in mind. You finish where you started, in Decize.
