Rondje Château de Posanges en Canal de Bourgogne

The ride

Roll out of Venarey-les-Laumes and follow La Brenne, a river, before picking up the Canal de Bourgogne for a stretch beside the water. The route then climbs past the Château de Posanges, a castle, and later meets L'Ozerain, another river, on the way back. Of the 55.7 km, most runs unpaved, with 670 m of climbing spread across the loop. It's a ride that keeps changing what's beside you.
