The ride

Roll out of Montgerval and the route soon settles beside the Canal d'Ille-et-Rance, then follows the L'Illet and L'Ille on its way through the countryside. With 372 m of climbing spread across 60.3 km, the pedalling stays friendly as you pass the Château de Beauvais. The surface splits between paved and unpaved, so the character shifts under your wheels. Then it's back to Montgerval where you started.
